How can we assist you?
Should you wish to stay at home, there are legal procedures that can protect you and remove the perpetrator from your home. Additional security and safety measures can be installed inside your home to protect you. If you choose to move home, then our homeless unit and Homefinders team will be able to offer advice and assist you.
We will work with our partners, which include Northumbria police, and victim support to ensure that you have the necessary support you require. Should you report that you are fleeing domestic violence and do not feel safe in your own home, then we can offer you emergency accommodation. For further advice and assistance then please contact the domestic violence co-ordinator on 01670 542 060 or email snu@blythvalley.gov.uk
